Mask Tutorial

Would you like your webcam to have fun shapes on your livestream? Here's how you can do this easily on OBS.

Hi streamers! A custom shape for your livestream can make it look more polished and professional. This also works for YouTubers that record their videos on OBS.

Here comes a quick and easy tutorial on how to use the free templates I made for your streams:

1st) Make sure your template is in .PNG format, and the shape is not touching any of the sides of the picture; it has to be surrounded by emptiness, like you :P

2nd) Go to the Source pannel, select your Webcam (Video Capture Device by default) and then click on Filters. In your OBS, the filter tab might be further to the left, not right on top of the Source pannel.

3rd) On the Filters screen, click on the '+' sign to add a filter, and select Image Mask/Blend.

4th) Click on Browse and look for your .PNG template. Make sure the type is set to Alpha Mask (Color Channel).

And there you go! You just made your livestream even more interesting to the eye. I hope you the best of luck on your journey. Bye! <3
